[엑스포츠뉴스=정희서 기자] Oct 18 at 0 hour. A comical teaser image of EPIK HIGH’s new music video for “BORN HATER” was unveiled.
This was uploaded on YG Entertainment’s official blog. On the poster, along with the “R19” sign are some very grim looking EPIK HIGH, B.I and female models and dancers. The image itself is funny enough to build up curiosity. B.I is wearing a hat that reads “At least have lots of money,” a line that attracted much attention on Show Me the Money 3, making the viewers smile.
“Born Hater” is about looking at the world through those who are sick of interference of others who are prejudice or biased against certain types of rappers. EPIK HIGH discuss the theme in the song with Beenzino and Verbal Jint, along with WINNER’s SONG MIN HO, B.I and BOBBY-the hottest hiphoppers. They are expected to showcase some amazing harmony through drum, bass, TUKUTZ’s DJ-ing and rappers’ voices.
EPIK HIGH already attracted much attention when their 8th album came out including songs like “HAPPEN ENDING,” “SPOILER,” “ENCORE,” “BURJ KHALFIA,” and “SHOEBOX,” as these featured top artists like TAEYANG and GAEKO.
The album is to be released at 0 hour of Oct 21 online while the offline version will come out on the 22nd. Reservation for the album begins from Oct 15 to 21. Their limited signed CDs will be mixed among the pile, being sold randomly to the lucky ones.
After their album release, the group will hold their exclusive concert “Parade 2014” for the first time in 5 years at Blue Square Samsung Card Hall on Nov 15 and 16.
